BOLE THO GANDHIGIRI

The day went really good even though its dry day and veg day. I really felt why don’t we follow every day bapu principles,

I truly dont know whether god exists or not but when i feel alone or think something out of my mind i sit and pray lord anjaneya which gives me tremendous energy to move forward. Whether its belief or something else but i like it and follow. Why I am discussing this here is Gandhi principles really gives us something why dont we blindly follow them everyday instead of restricting for one day on the name of bapu birthday. bapu principles not really meant for one day its to celebrate every day, entire year and every year.

On this very special occasion I thought to remind bapuji principles once... not just to read them once again but also to follow at least some of them till we remind them and I hope we are intelligent enough not to forget them at all!!!

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."

           - Mahatma Gandhi from India

GANDHISM:

Truth: learning from your own mistakes and conducting experiments on yourself

Nonviolence: nonresistance connected in a way to religion

Vegetarianism: carved in the Hindu and Jain traditions in India

Brahmacharya: spiritual and practical purity

Simplicity: giving up unnecessary spending

Faith: belief in a Higher power and that all religions are equal

>> Understand what is different of where and when Mahatma Gandhi lived and where and when you live

·         He lived in India during the '30s and '40s when he was following these principles.

·         We live in a society and amongst a generation that has a lot more technology, is more materialistic and we are not fighting for the same reasons (we have 'freedom'(opportunities to do what we want to do))

>> Manipulate the principles to not lose the meaning behind them but be able to apply them without feeling restricted. Here is an example:

·         Truth: fight your own inner demons, fear and insecurities. Everyone is unique in this world and therefore, one should not compare with others. Be honest with yourself of who you are and what you want. If you think there is something to fix, then fix it.

·         Nonviolence: control your temper and also your thoughts. What we think, we become and therefore if you always are thinking of hurting someone or feeling extremely angry at someone, those are the vibes you'll be giving to others. Best way to be nonviolent is to think positive and believe that whatever happens, it is for a good reason.

·         Vegetarianism: not everyone can resist meat, but you can control your consumption. For health reasons, avoiding eating a lot of red meat is a good idea.

·         Brahmacharya: many of us want to get married and have children or be intimate with someone. Therefore, becoming a brahmacharya might not be possible. However, you could reduce thinking of the opposite sex as an object. You could also wait to be intimate with someone till after marriage.

·         Simplicity: life in the western countries tends to be quite fast. Do you need the latest fashion clothing or can you wear the clothes you already have? Do you need 50-100 pairs of shoes? Do you need the latest gadgets? Do you need a brand new BMW? Simplicity doesn't mean foregoing all your desires, but not buying something right away or something you don't really need. Simplicity also means being happy with what you are given and have.

·         Faith: believing that there is someone or something higher than you. You don't need to believe in God, but believing that everyone is equal and you are no less or more than someone else. It is knowing your values, ethics and morals. Faith is not following others blindly especially when someone else is doing something that your heart says is not right.

If you have decided to change a part of your life, you will need to be patient because there are days when you might fail and then you will need courage to start again.

Green Initiative | Phasing out of paper cups at IT office- A thought !

We have been using the paper cups in our office for drinking coffee/ Tea & water. For the global warming, lack of trees being one of the main reason.

Just for the information, here are some interesting facts about the paper cups usage as follows (Facts & figures extracted from an internet site),

·          On an average, we consume 6,000 paper cups per working day  (4 cups/person/day)

·          Consumption of 6,000 paper cups per working day equals to 30,844 Kgs of paper, generating of 67,132 kgs of solid waste per year

·          On an average, we use 16,50,000 paper cups in a year which equals to the cutting of 4,520 tree/ year

·          The above facts are only for one office. Just imagine for the other offices !!!

New method our company Sapient following:

·          We are using Steel mugs for Coffee/ Tea & pearl pet bottles for drinking water. With this we will phase out usage of paper cups in all pantries in floors.

·          At Cafeteria, we are using the steel glasses for drinking water.

Let's give our two cents in saving the environment!

I encourage others also to go with the same idea and save world & save environment!!

TELANGANA Alluri(u)

idi TELANGANA sentiment ante

******* ->>>>>

Nothing to loose

Nothing to loose in this by-election results but we have to learn something over here!!!

People forgot the reason behind electing TRS candidates and this results clearly showing that.

I too agree that we need developed Telangana before separation but no need of blaming TRS MLAs for this, we elected them to project Telangana sentiment waves across the state and in india and they are up to the mark, and we need to wait for some time also it requires to support them every time they extend their hand towards us. But we have not done this and need to be feel ashamed for this everyone who voted against TRS.

This is the time to stand, support strengthen Telangana sentiment and TRS across all regions in Telangana and make the people understand that its not one election stint ... its long running fight against all Andhra politicians and parties who betraying Telangana and people in Telangana on all issues in this common state!!!

I’m from Hanamkonda saying this by looking at/walking on damaged or worst condition Hanamkonda chowrastha roads where Mp, MLA MLC and even ZPTC are from TRS. But I understand what our MLA, MP, MLC are doing for this district and to coming Telangana state and also I have clear understanding on why we voted and elected them. And I hope every one of you also understand after this.

TELANGANA by-elections results

Telangana Rashtriya Samiti (TRS) President K Chandrashekhar Rao was trailing in Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency after the completion of first round of counting in the by-elections held at Andhra Pradesh.
According to latest reports the Congress party established initial leads in two Lok Sabha constituencies and was also ahead in four assembly seats while The TRS was ahead in two Lok Sabha and four assembly constituencies.
The main opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidates were leading in four assembly constituencies.
TRS candidate S Ramalinga Reddy has defeated his nearest TDP rival C Muthyam Reddy by 5,142 votes in Dommat assembly by-poll.
Meanwhile, fierce three-corner contest was on in other constituencies as per the initial trends available here.
The Congress candidate and former Minister T Jeevan Reddy established a slender lead of 875 votes after the first round over Rao in the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat.
The bypolls were held on May 29 to four Lok Sabha and 18 assembly elections in the state.
Crucial polls
It's a big day in Andhra Pradesh as counting of votes has started for the by-elections which took place on Thursday.
The by-elections are largely seen as a referendum on the Telangana statehood issue.
These polls are taking place less than a year before Andhra Pradesh goes to polls in 2009 because four Lok Sabha members of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and 16 of their MLAs resigned in March.
The elections are seen as an acid test for TRS, led by K Chandrasekar Rao, which has been spearheading the statehood movement since its inception in 2001.
Many say that it is an unnecessary election and the idea behind is to hopefully win their seats again and show to the UPA leadership that there is a strong Telangana sentiment which Delhi needs to recognise. (With PTI inputs)

Pepsi’s Spoof On Thums Up

Pepsi’s Spoof On Thums Up - ad war

With summer setting in, cola giants have really turned the heat on each other. First, coca-cola’s Sprite spoofing Pepsi’s YOUNGISTAN campaign
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_N-FVryV1I).

Following the suit was Pepsi, taking on Thums Up commercial
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJxTQvdTsIY). I really enjoyed watching Pepsi’s answer to Thums Up. Must say, it’s a good job by ad agency. But there is flip side to it also. It is the first time when Pepsi as a Mother Brand has taken on any such spoof. Coke, as a main brand, has never deviated from the brand vision. They let the other brands( Thums Up, Sprite) to take care of all such campaigns. Pepsi should have avoided this direct confrontation. The spoof(Sprite) could have been easily taken care of by any of their non-cola brand like Mountain Dew.

But what I am sure is that both the brands will add to each others GRP’s. But who takes the cake is still remain to be seen. Let just sit and enjoy the summer while both the brands are sipping each other.

Parugu Movie Review

Parugu Movie Review

Cast: Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj, Sheela, Jayasudha (guest role), Poonam Bajwa (guest role), Sunil and many others.

Strengths: Allu Arjun and Prakash Raj

Must see scenes:
1. All the comedy scenes
2. Prakash Raj drunken scene with Allu Arjun expressing his agony for his eloped daughter

Story: Krishna (Allu Arjun) is a happy go lucky guy who gets trapped in the family of Prakash Raj who is searching for the latter’s eloped first daughter Subba Lakshmi (Poonam Bajwa). In the mean time Krishna falls in love with Prakash Raj second daughter Meena (Sheela) and plans to elope with her. After seeing the agony and pain of an eloped daughter’s father, Allu Arjun decides to leave Meena. What happens next should be seen on big screen only.

Analysis: Parugu movie is the second movie for Bhaskar after Bommarillu and as the trend follows it will not be a phenomenol hit (second movie of most of the recent directors is not a hit). It is all about how a father feels when his daughter elopes with her lover. Bhaskar showed the father’s love from son’s point of view in Bommarillu where as he showed father’s love from the father’s point of view in Parugu.

Bhaskar wanted to prove that he is not wrong in both the movies. One can find the complete reverse side of Bommariilu movie. I agree that Parugu is a complete different story but it lags the effective on-screen discription ie screenplay. The movie dragged a lot in both first half as well as the second half.

Performances: Allu Arjun is as usual cool in this movie too. His action and his dance sequences doesn’t show much difference from his earlier movies like Happy, Arya and Bunny.

Heroine Sheela is sweet and beautiful as a village girl. Poonam Bajwa who did a guest performance in Parugu has nothing to mention about. Jayasudha as Allu Arjun’s mother has no role to perform.

Special mention about Prakash Raj should be done here. He, as an agonizing father gave splendid performance. He stole the entire show in the movie.

Sunil and his friends are good and gave rib-tickling comedy with proper timing and proper punch dialogues.

Story by Bhaskar is different and good. Direction, again by Bhaskar is good but is not highlighted because of the bad screenplay.

Ready to vote for Telangana 99 times

Ready to vote for Telangana 99 times

People from many regions and parties are eagerly looking for coming by-elections and focus is on will Telangana people vote for Telangana Rastra Samiti again in this by-elections which caused by four MPs and 16 members of the legislative assembly belonging to the Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) had resigned last month to press their demand for separate statehood to Telangana.

Recent surveys has also proven that there is no doubt in Telangana people mind to vote for TRS and even everyone Ready to vote 99 times and leave their life once for Telangana in their 100yrs life.

But also feeling its responsibility of Telanganites to keep majority in all the segments for TRS and no deposit to remaining parties which is the only way we can teach a lesson to ruling Congress party and its supporting parties for betraying Telangana people on the issue of separate statehood to Telangana region.

What congress party and leaders gave us after we putting them in government are Corruption, irregularities in Jalayagnam, farmers’ suicides, sale of girl children by lambada families, starvation deaths of Siricilla weavers and steep hike in prices of essential commodities.

Do you think Telangana slogan the creation of unemployed politicians? Or you concern about the backward districts in Telangana in Telangana state? Want o know why should only Telangana people have a separate state of their own even there are other backward areas in the state? You feel Naxalites the cause of Telangana’s backwardness?

For all those queries you can visit http://www.telangana.org/TelanganaFAQ.asp

TRS is only political party that is exploiting Telangana sentiment and fighting for separate statehood to Telangana sincerely and truly.

Bypolls to Telangana LS and assembly seats would be held on May 29

Bye-election to the seven Lok Sabha seats, including four in Andhra Pradesh, and 22 assembly seats spread over seven states would be held next month, the Election Commission announced . Elections to four Lok Sabha seats -- Karimnagar, Hanamkonda, Warangal and Adilabad -- and 18 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh following resignation by Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) members would be held on May 29.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu fired his first salvo by declaring that his party was not against the demand for Telangana state. Naidu pointed out that there were different opinions even in the Telangana region. “There are people who are demanding separate state and there are others who are not in favour of the such idea”, he said explaining why the party was not able to take a clear stand on the issue.

TRS president K.Chandrasekhar Rao accused that though the flags of Congress and TDP are different, their agenda was the same. He told newsmen that these two parties are colluding together into a “joint venture” to defeat his party candidates in the coming byelections so that to claim later there was no Telangana sentiment

BJP former president M Venkaiah Naidu said that the byelections will not decide the fate of separate statehood for Telangana. Speaking to newsmen at Vijayawada he said that the fate of Telangana will be decided only in the general elections in 2009.

Reiterating his commitment to the formation of a separate Telangana, Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president D Srinivas said for him party is more important than Telangana.

IT enabled cities like Pune, Bangalore, NCR needs to be taken care with special eye in regards to traffic, it won’t require much budget or knowledge except responsibility and it’s each and every individual responsibility in the society to make it easy going.

Several things which we observe while we stuck on heavy traffic like a 4 wheeler with single person, auto wala keep his vehicle cross the road which doesn’t allow two wheelers to go ahead like many. If we look at the problems closely we can find answers as well. What we need to strictly follow are use car pooling if not interested use office buses but don’t use vehicle for alone and don’t allow drivers to go in wrong direction or in wrong order when you are traveling in auto. Things like this seems easy and can possible will make big difference. Its all depends on you and us to make traffic easy going. So Let’s Turn Yourself!!!!

It's raining jobs for Weblogic Admin...

The US economy has taken a battering, the weak players (largely constituting the dotgonners) have dropped out of the race and the strong ones to conserve energy are changing course and making a dash for India.

Tech titans, having assayed the skills of India's knowledge workers, are aggressively stepping into Indian soil or outsourcing select IT operations to trim operational costs and shore up sagging bottom-lines.

The downturn, has compelled US companies to scale down costs and has had a domino effect on Indian software service providers. Onsite projects have dried up and crisis-ridden Indian companies are falling over each other to hold on to existing projects. Price war, so far restricted to the battle between the two Colas, is now a reality for Indian software companies. Today, companies quote rates as low as $15 per person hour to keep afloat, making onsite projects unviable. Recently, Infosys CEO Narayan Murthy admitted to an Indian business magazine that the company pulled out of a $7,000 per man month project when a rival quoted $4,500 per man month for then same project.

This is just the beginning. The price wars are only bound to get more.

You're a fool if you think it's over for Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

You're a fool if you think it's over for Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

The world's top two may not have started the year as expected, but this author thinks they will still be sitting at the top of the tree come the end of the season.
'Anyone who thinks that Federer will not be primarily attempting to relinquish the French title from Nadal, or that the Spaniard won't be fighting tooth and nail to retain it, needs their head examined'
It is always rather tricky trying to pin down the exact reasons for a champion's slump.
Roger Federer has, by his lofty standards, had a terrible 2008 and is not looking particularly happy with his game. Diagnosed with mononucleosis after falling to Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open, Federer has lost a further three matches.
Andy Murray in Dubai was not as huge a shock as the media would have us believe. Murray is very talented and can outplay any of the big names on his day. His attitude and inconsistency is what prevents him from bettering himself.
Indeed, it was not until Mardy Fish whipped Federer in straight sets at Indian Wells that people noticed there was no evident fight or fire coming from the Swiss genius. That was very uncharacteristic of the world number one and extremely worrying for his army of followers.
Federer has been at the pinnacle of the world rankings for 219 consecutive weeks and he is, of course, human - everyone runs out of steam at some point. The aura that surrounds Federer and his achievements merits a case for caution on premature shouts about his slippery slope from the top of the Tennis world.
Although recently defeated for a fourth time this year - by Andy Roddick in the quarter-finals of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami - Federer displayed some very encouraging signs of recovery. In a three-set loss, he was ahead on forehand, backhand and volley winners against the rejuvenated American.
Encouraging? Or ominous for the rest of the players only too willing to take Federer's throne? I would tend to agree with the latter. In the run-up towards the French Open, perhaps Federer is finally shaking off his illness and hitting the ground running in his quest for that elusive clay court title.
One man who will enter the clay court season in a slightly more boisterous mood is the king of clay, Rafael Nadal. He's 21-6 for the season in the win-loss column and a runners-up prize in Miami against Nikolay Davydenko sees the young Spaniard in a good position.
Although comprehensively beaten by the Russian, an ever-positive Nadal remained upbeat, saying: "This tournament is going to give me, I think, positive feelings for the clay season."
Nadal seems extremely relaxed and fresh, as he should moving into his favourite part of the calender. Neither Nadal nor Federer have hit the heights so far this year, yet rumblings throughout the tennis world are rife predicting that the two most consistent and best players on the planet are about to crumble.
Only three months or so into the season with three Grand Slam events to come shows a lack of foresight on the part of many doubters. For 140 weeks Nadal has been attempting to topple Federer from the top spot and if Djokovic, Davydenko and Roddick think that the young Spaniard - or Federer for that matter - will simply fade away, they are being very naive.
These two men have set the standard over the last few years and are not even close to chucking in the towel yet. Rankings do not lie and anyone who thinks that Federer will not be primarily attempting to relinquish the French title from Nadal, or that the Spaniard won't be fighting tooth and nail to retain it needs their head examined.
No one can forsee injuries or lack of form, but both men are slowly building up the right momentum and form at just the right time.
Nadal and Federer know each other very well and, strangely for the top two in tennis, hold each other in high regard both on and off the court. It would be foolish for anyone to think that the two of them will not still be sitting at the top of the tree come the end of the season.

Jalsa: Movie Review

Pawan Kalyan's Jalsa opened to huge crowds on Wednesday. Labeled as the most awaited movie of the season it is no surprise that Jalsa was surrounded by immense hype and hoopla.
Did live up to the expectations? This film is a truly class act… directed at families and youth audience. Of course the title itself suggests what the film will offer and yes, you can do Jalsa in the theatres as the film entertains you all the way.
Other than a few glitches in the screengplay Jalsa does what it is intended to do. The main drawback of the film is raising the naxalism topic and also canning a few scenes on that point. Though the idea is good it does not fit into the mood of the film. Although the entire episode lasts hardly for 15 minutes it has shown impact on the film heavily. Especially, with that episode the jovial and fun loving protagonist Sanjay Sahu's characterization dropped down and in turn has left many loopholes in the script.
Music is lilting to the ears and the picturization stands out in U & I, Karo Karo Jalsa songs. Action part is another plus point. None of the fights last long, but they had the necessary "Power" punch!
Pawan Kalyan is at his best in Sanjay Sahu's role. He did marvelous job in playing the role tailor made for him. His antics and mannerisms will be a treat to his fans, and they will feel that Khushi days are back. Ileana is cute. Parwati Melton is ok. Mukesh Rushi is terrific as the antagonist. Prakash Raj does his usual self. Furthermore, the ever green comedian Brahmanandam has another feather in his cap as hilarious Pranav! Sunil too tickles your funny bone. Not to forget the Superstar Mahesh who lent his voice for this film and his work is as sweet as Jalsa. He has to be commended.

Trivikram once again proves that he is the "dialogs guru" of Tollywood. He did a splendid job as a writer. His direction skills are good too but have to concentrate on screenplay writing.

On a whole Jalsa is a cool entertainer in this hot summer.
Leave your brains at home and enjoy the fun ride.
